How to change the language of your WordPress site

This post show how to change the language of your WordPress website.

To change the site language, go to Dashboard > Settings and select the language of your choice for Site Language. The click on Save Changes.

Following are step-by-step instructions:

Step 1: Go to the Dashboard

Step 2: Click on Settings > General

Step 3: Scroll down to Site Language and choose a language. I chose French.

Step 4: Scroll to the bottom and click on Save Changes

Now the Admin Interface is in French

The public facing website is also in French but the content is not translated to French

Arabic script languages are written right to left so the orientation of your page will change as below:
