Difference between a Team Site and Communication Site in Microsoft SharePoint

In SharePoint 365, you have the option to create a Team Site or a Communication Site. Which one should you create?
If you are going to create a site to collaborate with colleagues, then create a Team site. For example, you are running a project and you need to share documents between different teams. Documents can be status reports, project documents, risk registers, or anything else relevant to the project. It should be notes in a notepad, Word documents, Visio diagram, Excel spreadsheets, and any other Microsoft documents.
If you are going to create a site to transmit information, then create a communication site. This is ideal for a portal authored by a few and viewed by many. It is like a blog.
